DJ Rapid Ric, “The Mixtape Mechanic”, and Top Dollar Clothing, originators of the famous “Whut It Dew” shirts, have done it again with their fourth installment of the Whut It Dew mixtape series. Referred to as “Texas’ finest mixtape DJ” by Chamillionaire, Rapid Ric brings the heat yet again with his latest project that features never before heard music from the top artists in the southern region. Whut It Dew 4 is available in stores and online now.

Whut It Dew 4, which features new and exclusive music from The Whut It Dew Family, UGK, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Trae, DSR, Chingo Bling, and more, is packaged as a 3 disc set that includes a chopped-n-slowed version and a DVD with the Rapid Ric, Chalie Boy, and Magno music video for the “Pullin’ Up” single.

DJ Rapid Ric states, ”Fans can expect nothing but the finest material in southern hip-hop on Whut It Dew 4. The bonus DVD contains our Whut It Dew family music video for “Pullin Up”, which features Chalie Boy and Magno. We shot this entire video on 35mm here in Austin, TX, and it’s the first major hip-hop video filmed in Central Texas.”

Rapid Ric is one of the fastest rising DJs in the South, and it’s mostly because of the skill he brings to his art form. In the past year alone, he has been the tour DJ for Bun B, Chamillionaire, Devin The Dude, and Slim Thug. At only 24 years old, he is already considered Texas' finest mixtape DJ and a young rising entrepreneur. Rapid Ric mans the pipeline of the Lone Star State's top talent, furthering the self-made legacy of the Screwed Up Clicks DJ Screw, Swisha House's Michael Watts, and O.G. Ron C. Rapid Ric has solidified his niche as a trendsetter and tastemaker by progressing the Texas regional street sound to the rest of the world.

A regular mixer on Emmis-Communications owned Austin's KDHT "Hot 93.3”, Rapid Ric continues to debut Texas street hits on his weekly show, “Mixtape FM” that airs on Saturday nights. One of few DJs focused on actual mixing, Rapid Ric has garnered praise from The Source, XXL, Scratch, Ozone, Down, MTV, The New York Times, and The Austin Chronicle.

“He’s a phenomenal DJ, one of my personal favorites. His song selection, remixes, cuts and scratches are off the hook.” - Paul Wall
